Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! Mine was good. Before I could get out of bed this morning, Lucas came in and told me that I needed to stay in bed until breakfast was ready. When breakfast was ready, it consisted of chocolate chip pancakes (the boys' and my favorite), sausage and bacon. I received cards, Season 3 of Army Wives and 2 crafts that the boys made.

After breakfast, everyone got baths and showers and we headed up the road to Red Robin for lunch. We met my in-laws, my sister-in-law and her husband, Gee-Gee (Erik's grandmother), and Uncle Paul at Red Robin. I love Red Robin! Such delicious food!!! My in-laws gave me a beautiful vase and flowers from their garden, and my sister-in-law and her husband gave me tulips, a purse and a cooley cup.

Afterwards, we headed up to Erik's parents' house to spend some more time with them. We talked and let the boys play outside. On our way home, we stopped at another one of my favorite places--Starbucks. It was a cool spring day, so perfect for a nice hot mocha coffee. :)

It was a good Mother's Day. I'm sure that as the boys get older, my Mother's Days will get even better!

I wanted to end this with a post that my dear friend, Sarah, has on her Facebook page:
"Happy Mother's Day for all that have babies to hold in their arms, those that have babies loving them from heaven, those who are waiting to hold their little ones not here yet, and those still yearning for that little one in their hearts. I hope ALL MOMS enjoy this day!"
